Personally, I prefer the other shot as it seems to be more focused on the subject, although this one looks better (more grainy, more depth). I think maybe if this was cropped at the bottom of the hand and showed a touch more face it could be just as good. :)

I like what I see though; you seem to come up with some great ideas for shots. :)
